2013 Regional Governor's Cup Competition
Congratulations Charley Hyden for advancing to state in Composition for the second year in a row. Charley placed 2nd in regional competition. State Governor's Cup Competitions for high school will be at Louisville's Galt House March 16th-18th.

FCEC students visited South Floyd Media Center to explain the benifits, opportunities, and to promote this program.
AT & T Presentation
Earlier this month Floyd County schools was presented with $100,000 from AT&T.This money was for the “Why Try?” program.This is a program that deals with student apathy and gives money for summer programs.
Superintendent,faculty,students,and parents all assembled in the South Floyd gymnasium attentively and with respect, it was evident Floyd County was very thankful for AT&T and their donations.
